Never use Elfy to stick the chip to the card because it can damage the chip. The double-sided tape is enough to hold the chip in place (based on our testing).

Secondly, don't hold the flame over the chip for more than 2-3 seconds. In case you burn the chip, you will have to request your bank for a new plastic card.

Metal cards don't expire but the chip will eventually expire when the expiry date comes around. We recommend using chips that have atleast 3-4 years of work life.

In case your chip expires and your card is unusable, you can contact us for further procedure. We offer insurance that can cover costs of replacement if you opt for it.
